This is a Seasonal Park, you should call before visiting just to make sure we are open. Thank you! The Albergue Olimpico German Rieckehoff Sampayo or Olympic Hostel is an athletic training and recreational center located in Salinas, Puerto Rico. It is the most complete sports center in Puerto Rico used by professional athletes and by the general public for health, educational, and recreational activities.

It has a territorial expansion of 1,500 acres (6.1 Km2) and has 17 sports installations. Among these: multiple use courts, baseball complex, aquatic complex, tennis complex, gyms and different sports halls. They are all used for training by the different sports federation of the Puerto Rico Olympic Committee, and the only residential, sports-focused public school in Puerto Rico, the Escuela Especializada en Deportes (ECEDAO), by individual professionals, national and international sports associations and others. The Albergue also has water parks, an aviary, a botanical garden, playgrounds and the Puerto Rican Sports Museum. The museum houses the tomb holding the remains of legendary Puerto Rico Olympic leader German Rieckehoff Sampayo and his wife, Irma.

The Albergue, which opened in 1985, hosted the Shooting competitions for the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games. There are two Conference Halls and a Sport Library that bear Rafael Pont Flores's name.

Visited with gamily on grandaughter's birthday. Group of children aged 2 and 6 caused family group to separate as some pools are for children under 3 with one adult. The other children pool only allowed our 6 yr old by himself (did not like) and the river waterfall pool again has the restriction one adult per child. Cafeteria area provides... More

My review will be about Olympia Water Parks. Olympia located in Albergue Olimpico is a good water theme park with too many attractions. Unfortunately it is price fixed for all ages, and exagerated unfair rules depending on kids ages or parties, said that, the bad thing is that you pay for all and can't be or enjoy all with your... Family day. The park is clean, has 3 sections all includes kid spots. The bigger section needs more employees at the slides lines. Many slides, one line for each two or three and people just get in front of you saying that they are going to one, and then goes to another. At least one hour in line just for... More

Its a nice place to go and spend a few hours however for the amount of people that visit the pool is not very big. Should expand the water area which is where most people end up
