In a beautiful remote location I. The middle of olive trees, we were welcome by the nicest team at Kaliyoga. I love the studio with its view of the mountains. The yoga was fantastic and I finished my week feel relaxed and revived. Ps. The food is unbelievable! It was my first yoga retreat and would definitely return.

This was my second time to Kali Yoga and it did not disappoint. The perfect environment to unwind, explore, read and enjoy regular yoga with outstanding food and a stunning backdrop of the mountains. We had a lovely group and on one day when the weather was wet we snuggled in front of the fire, chatted and swapped notes on favourite books. We also took advantage of the variety of therapists who come to Kali Yoga by appointment. It feels very much like a family home and with the kind hospitality of the team you do really feel at home.. I think I may be returning...Thank you Kali team!

A truly wonderful week. I have come back feeling refreshed, revitalised and myself again. Superb yoga, delicious food, relaxing treatments. I will certainly be back!

Kaliyoga is a truly special retreat. The setting is stunning, the food utterly delicious, the yoga wonderful and the hikes glorious but it’s the staff, therapists and teachers who make it so fantastic. I had the most wonderful week and left wishing I could stay longer. Kate’s cookery afternoon was one of many highlights - we learnt and laughed, made friends and left totally refreshed. I can’t wait to return!

Gorgeous location. Brilliant yoga and a lovely group of guests. We were very lucky to have 7 guests making the retreat feel like a group of friends holidaying together. Rooms were very comfortable - we shared the Mulberry twin. Thank you to all the team

I was recommended Kaliyoga in November 2021. I finally managed to go there with my sister for a six day retreat in September 2023. All of the other travellers were solo travellers. We had the most amazing time and we would both thoroughly recommend this beautiful haven. The manager Kim and all of her team are superb. The standard of the food was unbelievable.

This was my second visit to the beautiful Kaliyoga retreat. It is in a stunning location in the mountains, just above Orgiva and I stayed in a lovely casita which is one of a collection of rooms that are either in the main building or cabins dotted around the beautifully maintained, extensive gardens.
Superbly run, Kaliyoga embraces you and encourages you to relax into the perfect lifestyle of chatting with others, sharing delicious food, having a treatment such as a massage, doing several hours of yoga each day and sunbathing (early September) plus swimming in the gorgeous pool. You can be sociable or private as needed.
Our yoga teacher, Boglarka, was wonderful, teaching a gentle but also sufficiently challenging type of Hatha yoga with such a lovely vibe. I miss her already!
My only sadness was that the group I was with this time was split in terms of its interest in the yoga. On the very last yoga session we had a chance to thank our lovely teacher, but only half the group turned up, the others staying chatting by the pool. We were a small group of 8 and whilst everyone went overboard thanking the brilliant and deserving chefs I felt there was a shoulder-shrugging attitude at times to the wealth of experience, thought and support our yoga teacher gave us. So whilst I had a really restorative and lovely time at Kaliyoga I might caution seasoned yogi’s to consider carefully what type of retreat they’re after as the emphasis on yoga here might not be enough. Or maybe I was just unlucky this time round as the first time I went there was a real embracing of the yoga by the group.
All in all Kaliyoga is a very special place offering a truly enriching experience to anyone who stays

Dear Nikki, thank you so much for your thoughtful and insightful review of your September retreat at Kaliyoga. Gyms and urban yoga centres are partially responsible for having relabeled yoga as a fitness brand with Sanskrit names, and so it happens from time to time that 'seasoned yogis' could find themselves out of their depth at Kaliyoga because we offer yoga that focuses on real self enquiry. As the saying goes, 'one can lead a horse to water, but the horse may not be thirsty enough to drink'. We look forward to your presence here again whever you are ready for a 6-night retreat or a short 3-night break.

It was my second time visiting Kali yoga solo and It did not disappoint. From the moment I arrived I felt cocooned in the most caring environment, surrounded by nature in an ethereal setting.
The yoga was wonderful and I was happy for the flexibility to attend or rest as I chose.
The accommodation is clean, calming and traditional.
The staff are absolutely wonderful, kind, compassionate and cannot do enough for guests.
And the food! It’s absolutely exquisite!! I will be back again.

Difficult to describe with words the warmth and the serinity that this place brings!
Even more beautiful than in the pictures!
Thanks to the stunning nature and the wonderful staff!
Cozy, relaxed but very well organised at the same time!
I went on my own and ended up with a group of lovely women. Many travelled solo as I did!

Kaliyoga is my favorite yoga retreat. I've been twice now, solo, and it's been full of great people and amazing, welcoming staff. The vegetarian food is incredible and the location is so relaxing.
Though I enjoy yoga, I'm by no means an expert, so I find it suits my level and they make it accessible to all. What's great is that you can dip in and out of socializing, so there is plenty of time for R&R.
I'd been in the winter prior, but the summer was lovely, chilling by the pool in the day and yoga morning and evening. It's a really special place, and can't recommend highly enough. It can be enjoyed any time of year.

We are travelling for a 5 day break and staying in a nearby hotel. I have read some reviews and I am curious to know if you can come to kaliyoga for a day?

Thank you for asking this question. We offer 7-day residential retreats for individuals and with friends & partners with full board. However, due to the powerful nature of the retreat process and the privacy of each group, we do not offer drop-in classes.
