Cemetery of the Soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty. Well maintained and managed. Co located with the large cantonment of French Army.. Anybody visiting this place may also have a look at the Artillery Museum nearby

My friend and I took the trip out to Draguignan from Nice. The drive was about an hour, and I would do it again without a doubt! The cemetery is beautiful, and meticulously well kept. At the very back of the cemetery is a beautiful...More

The Rhone American Cemetery and Memorial is a wonderfully peaceful, beautiful place, and a touching place to reflect on the sacrifice of those who liberated Europe. The most striking aspect of this cemetery isn’t the number of headstones, as it is in Normandy, but the...More

As are all places where fallen soldiers are remembered this is beautifully maintained and staffed by English speaking staff. Frequent tours are conducted for visiting groups with explanations of how some of those interred here fell in battle. Not huge in comparison to some memorial...More

This cemetery is quite small but extremely moving. We visited on Mother's Day and a tour group had left single long stemmed roses on several graves. This is a stop that is worth your time and is a very well maintained site.

Most impressive reminder of those who gave so much for our freedom, but also helps to understand the tactics and geography of regaining lost territory for re-establishing the Frnch nation.
