The history of the Nazi occupation of Norway is interesting and seeing the demolished ruins of this coastal defense installation was equally interesting. However, you must blaze your own path from the information center to the top of the ruins and you must carefully watch...More

A wonderful opportunity to explore a well-preserved WW2 German gun emplacement and complex looking out to the North Sea, plenty of trench systems, blockhouses and outposts to look at. There is a coffee shop and toilets on site and while we visited an art and...More

Visited Nordberg Fort on a windy thursday. Stayed warm in the cafe where they serve coffee, lapper (small pancakes) and lots of other things. They also have a nice shop. The surroundings are beautiful and I will definitely be back!
