Whilst in Belitung it is worth hiring a boat to take you around the small islands and to do a bit of snorkeling. This is just one of the stops I expect most boat trips will visit.

Island surrounding Tanjung Kelayang all best... yet too many people and there are no tourism management to keep the beach and islands tidy.. wondering what will happening in next 5 years.. ?

It's a very beautiful island with white small Beach, big piles of rocks, clear sea water and a lighthouse. You can even do snorkeling here behind the lighthouse. To get here you have to rent a boat from Tanjung Kelayang.

Lengkuas island little far away from tanjung kelayang beach but the islsnd had lighthouse/mercusuar. We can drink a coconut in this island about 25K per pcs.

You can reach Lengkuas Island by car from Tanjung Pandan to Tanjung Kelayang, then you rent a 10 pax - 20 pax boat, from Tanjung Kelayang you need about 15-20 minutes by boat

I don't think you need a tour guide. Like you say (and if you're coming from Jakarta), just fly out to Tanjung Pandan, hire a cab to Tanjung Kelayang and let him know you want to go out to Lengkuas. He will know the best... More
