We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This church is one of the finest examples of colonial architecture in the Calchaquí Valley. It is a small Spanish church that was built in the mid 1700s. Cactus wood was used in the vaulted ceiling and even the confessional. There are three bells on the upper facade of the church. It was declared a National Historic Monument in 1945.

Here is a good example of a small rural church. It is on the plaza and is in good condition. The interior is plain and uses the local cactus 'wood'.

Just a quick in & out, and you will have seen this little church, which has a classic Latin American design.

Cachi is a small, Spanish colonial town in northwestern salta province. It has a lot of life, and while th epopulation is small, lots of visitors pass through, on their way to Salta or Cafayate. The church is a charming reminder of colonial times: a single nave, the bellfry incorporated into the =facade, and elaborately decorated main altar and side altars.

The confessional box made of cactus wood was is an interesting use of this material. The lack of much decoration probably reflects the small size of Cachi and the wealth of the town.

Larger and with a higher ceiling than most (but still the cactus wood), this is a pleasant church. The stations of the cross are in local tapistry style, not great art, but an interesting naïve style.

Like the rest of Cachi, the Iglesias offers a look back into the past, a reminder of a slower more peaceful pace. Look closely the church confessional and ceiling is made of cactus.

Spent a while admiring the church admits a raging heat and swirling wind. Overall it's worth going into and spending a few minutes enjoying the quiet. Respect the parishioners in the church - the town is very religious and they were there praying.

Typical Catholic church right next to the main square. Very dark and cool inside. Well kept. There was a dog sleeping in the entrance next to a big stone pot with a water dish under it. Cute!
