Explore the Atlantic side of Martinique on a half-day tour from the port of Le François. Learn about the island’s ecosystem and surrounding islands, go snorkeling, experience “Josephine’s Bath,” and more. Light snacks and beverages are included. This is an excellent choice for cruise ship passengers or first-time visitors to the island.

It wasn't expensive for 4 Euros. However, we could not take any pictures. This Ecomusee de Martinique is very close to the beach. They used to make distillery, but they stopped that. The most interesting in this museum is the artifacts from the Amerindians. That was cool! Worthwhile to see!

For those near Anse Figuier, a visit to the Martinique Museum is worth its 4€. There are lot's of explanations along the exhibit that help the visitor discover the history of the local peoples, the economy of the island and its local figures. One should understand French to get the most of it.

Want to know more about Martinique and the Antilles? The artifacts, models and panels tell a rich pre-european history much of it based on the local archeology. Well worth the price of admission. Conveniently located to free parking and family beach.
