If you're going don't be afraid to take many many layers and blankets to sit on. They offer different ticket types for different viewing areas. We did the middle of the road package which for us had perfect views . They don't allow standing (so everyone can see) or photography after the suns gone down and the penguins start coming... More

We were there last week and the experience was GREAT! Many penguins came up from the sea, waddled back to their burrows along the pathway, up the hills and wherever their nest was. We came up close and personal, side by side, separated by only a fencing so that was absolutely fantastic! No photos are allowed, they are very strict... More

I understand that animals need to be protected and I totally respect that! I'd also accept to pay a price for that, so the animals won't be threatened or anything by humans, but why to build this big building and make such a big thing and let people pay incredible amounts of money for seeing something that is usually for... In one sentence it is a great experience and well worth going to see. On the drive up take your time. There are kangaroos (or wallaby?) in this area and we saw one jump across the road right infront of us. We arrived early... 2 hours early, and there were already crowds inside the visitors centre. People were allowed down... More

A visit to Phillip Island will not be complete without a visit to the Penguin Parade. Do be civilized please. Despite constant reminders, quite a number of tourist still used their cameras to take photos even though it was not allowed. As the attraction is by the beach and at dusk, it will be extremely cold. Bring lots of layers... More

This is an absolute must go, especially if you have young children. The Little Penguins are such a delight to look at as they parade their way back to their barrows. It make no difference which ticket you buy as the real delight for us was watching them wobble their way back home on the broad-walk after some of them... More

Highly recommend this penguin parade. Not only because penguins were cute, but also the efforts that the park was trying to protect the environment for wild lives. It was a great experience. Everyone from earth should learn from that.

was a really cold day but worth every minute!! We saw the penguins coming out of the surf but the best part was when we got to walk along side them. the are was fenced and we were on the pedestrian walk way but we could see them waddling back to their burrows. they were just a few feet away.... Not sure what to expect I settled for the basic admission and walked down to the seating area on the beach. It was fairly busy but was lucky to find a decent spot next to the side railings. Waiting until dusk for them to come out of the sea and across the beach seemed to take ages but at one... More
