We paid around $25 each to enter what looked and smelt like a cinema. It came to ocer $50 for us but we could pay $90 to see penguin plus? But why would you??? Stands with literally thousands of people crammed in to viewing grandstands to watch dots march up the beach in the distance. Heaps of people stood up... More

It was in the last century when I went to this place. It is wonderful to see how much they did for the area. It's great to see the little fellas coming onto the beach and back to their homes.

Make sure you get your tickets on line to avoid disappointment. We had our extended family of 12 people and had an amazing time. So many things to see & do. We were told the Penguins should get there about 9pm, so we arrived at 7.30pm, had dinner, saw all the interactive things & strolled down to the beach. Such... More

If you wish to see a koala , that's the drive out to a view of Hobart to the west , or Antarctica to the south . Sit on a bleacher , maybe bring a blanket , have a hip flask ( with discretion ) a snack is required , and wait , and wait , and wait . One... More

Great for all ages, the penguins waddled onto the beach and went up the rocks to get to their chicks and feed them. I would definitely go again and as you walk on the boardwalk the penguins waddled along with you and as we were walking we saw a baby penguin waiting for its mother. When we went to the... More

The basic facilities and set up of this experience are good. However, it is far too overcrowded with mobs of people treating this like a sporting outing: shouting, jostling, ignoring protocol, general rudeness and total lack of awareness of others. The woefully understaffed rangers were unable to control the crowd. I suggest charging about $50 more, and offering $30 off... More

I first saw the Phillip Is Penguin Parade over 30 years ago. I just remember lots of people and only a few penguins. Although always popular, it has become even more so in recent times. Nevertheless, there is no need to turn up early, unless you want that great car parking spot. Around dusk is early enough, although you may... More

Great for families. But remember to book as this attraction is busy all year round. Visit the Nobbies visitors center prior to parade at dusk. Great Cafes in Cowes town center. Euphoria cafe is very good at 13 Thompson st near the water front.

This is an amazing experience if you love animals and nature. We had to wait for 90 mins by the beach for the little penguins to arrive but it was so worth the wait. Make sure you sit at the corners either left or right as this gives the best view of them arriving from the sea. However the highlight... More
