We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A beach that is visible from the upper part of the town and Murat castle. Not astonishing in any way - just a city beach with nice view.

It was easy to layout and get some space. Water was clear and calm. Locals are great to interact with. I enjoyed jumping off the walkway into the water with a few of them. The only downside was the trash that washed in from the sea. I’m not sure where it was coming from but there was quite a bit that washed in while I was there. Plastic bags, burnt plastic, paper products. All of it just seemed to wash in. That was a real bummer considering how beautiful and picturesque everything else was.

This beach was a big dissapointment, we were charged 5 euros for parking, because there is a grotto a lot of people come to visit, but we only came to refresh ourselves. The water in the first week of July was too hot, not refreshing at all & there was a lot of trash nearby. We tried to go a little bit further towards the cliffs, but the access to the sea is very bad there. There are so many better beaches nearby, this one is not worthy the parking fee. The only positive thing is the shower.
Then we moved to the PIzzo town beach, the water was not so clean & also quite warm, but the view of Pizzo was a nice touch & we had a great gelato in the marina in Casa Mastroiani.

Nice small public beach, we quite liked it, water is crystal clear so great for snorkelling! The people of Pizzo were so lovely and friendly too.

This small beach was very rewarding for us to cool down after sightseeing the beautiful Pizzo town. There's free parking around and also a shower.
The beach was clean and tidy and also calm due to a stone embankment. Many restaurants are around to have a meal.

We really enjoyed our afternoon and evening at the beach below Pizzo town,
No problem parking -a bonus around Pizzo !
Clean beach and a good supply of reasonably-priced restaurants.

We visited Pizzo 5 years ago and went to the city-beach. We were swimming among garbage, and beach infested with cigarette butts and garbage and other less desirable stuff.

Came by the beach again this year, just to check it out. Looks cleaner in the water, but still garbage, cigarette butts and dungs of the mentioned stuff (decorated with toilet paper...guess this is what you get when wanting to have beach but not offering necessary services). One of the effects of this is that we'll never eat in one of the restaurants too close to the beach, before the beach is closed or reach adequate human health level. Our advice: Keep away from this area! Many nice and clean beaches in the surroundings.

Beautiful picturesque area where you can relax. The sand is very fine and the water clear and calm dependant on the weather of course.
