Overall a pretty good experience. The crew was great and very knowledgeable, we just couldn't hear them very well at points (no megaphone or speaker on the upperdeck). We sat on the upper deck of the Heron V and could clearly see the 2 shipwrecks we passed without the need for the viewing widows while heading out to Flowerpot Island.... More

Great view of the lake and islands. Good timing to come back is important. 1 hour for a quick look at the beach, 2 to 3 hours for the hiking the loop trail.

For our honeymoon getaway I really wanted to see flowerpot island as I figured it was the closest I could get to Caribbean waters on a short two day trip. We didn't do much research as to other cruise tours and just picked this one as it was closest to the water. For two adults it was quite pricey at... More

The boat was on time in leaving for the flowerpot island, and on time to pick us up. A plus! We had a seat inside near the floor windows which was nice when it came time to seeing the shipwrecks. Another plus. The problem with this tour, no one could hear a thing the guide was saying. That's a shame.... More

You don't need to take the glass-bottom boat. The other one is better. Take the orange boat and look over the edge! Awesome experience!

Well, the staff were excellent and Flower Pot Island was very beautiful. That's where it ends. We purchased a ticket to go to Flower Pot Island. Part of the service is to view the sunken ships in the clear bay water way. They advertise 'Glass Bottom Boat'. There is no glass bottom. There are only 2 portals with 4 window... More

We thought there would be many boats and booking was not necessary and we were wrong. We visited Tobermory during the Labour Day long weekend and arrived at the office around 9am and the earliest scenic boat (with a stop at Flower Pot Island) that we got was the 3:40pm. Later in the afternoon, we saw a sign to indicate... More

ABSOLUTELY GREAT VALUE for a few hours of bliss aboard The Blue Heron! A last minute trip from heavenly Sauble Beach took us to Tobermory on the incredible Bruce Peninsula. We were able to take wonderful pictures as the boat took us past Flowerpot Island... so close to scenic shores and over ship wrecks!! No propellers on her made for... More
