Formed by a melting glacier, this beautiful lake is a milky turquoise color, produced by the algae at the bottom.

I had high expectations, in particular as the park fee is high (42,000 pesos per 2 people in a car), but boy was it worth it ! The place is simply stunning

A windy wild trail that when accessed early is yours alone. Fantastic views of the Cuernos del Paine. The wind was gale force and the mountains changed constantly as the clouds blew over. Truly memorable.

Though easy hike, unfortunately the day we ventured this, it was extremely windy. So, it was little challenging with kids. But, the view is superb!

It's a very scenic and easy going hike to get here. Most of the tourists seem to only go as far as the Salta Grande waterfall - after that, we saw only a handful of other walkers. Once you get to the lake, the views...More

Great views at all areas of the lake. The walk along the lake to the Mirador de los Cuernos is a must, but not suitable for small children because of the very strong crosswinds.

This beautiful lake in the Torres Del Paine park is a gorgeous shade of blue. It's made even prettier by the black volcanic rock/sand shore.

We visited the lake on horseback which made it so cool. It is a different area from the towers which is nice for a change of scenery. Crossing the small rivers along side and slightly going up. Multiple tracks to go around.

The lakes have different colours and each is a sight to behold! I never tired of taking photos of them.

Hiked to this beautiful lake in Torres Del Paine National Park in Chile via the trail that goes by the Salte Grande Waterfall. Beautiful hike that ends in an elevated view of the lake and Cuernos peaks rising behind the lake. Great picture spot!
