A breathtaking site by all means, this excursion consists of a leisurely hike on the 600 meter trail to the Salto Grande Waterfall, starting at the parking lot. This site is where Nordenskjold Lake drops into Pehoe Lake. The force and volume of this drop...More

I cannot understate how windy it was here. Sudden gusts would lift people off their feet. A little girl had to turn back because she couldn't keep going. Wind will lift tiny rocks off the trail and throw them at your legs and face like...More

Let's be honest, I have seen bigger and taller waterfalls in my life. But I am not here to compare waterfalls. During my three days in the Torres del Paine National Park, this waterfall was one spot I wanted to visit for photography purposes and...More

As part of half day tour of park, we stopped here, "Only" 60 feet high, but good volume of water, and spectacular vista. You can view from many angles and walk down to its throat, etc. Can't say it's a "must see", but it's very...More

It was nice to visit but the waterfall is not the drawcard for this park. You can walk from the waterfall to a viewpoint of the horns about an hour away. It's worth doing.

It’s a good idea to find a tour which includes this location. There are a few places to get different views of the waterfall- so include it in your stay in the Torres del Paine National Park

Good waterfall to see and there’s a short hike behind it that you can take to see the French valley and the horns! Watch out for rainy or windy weather otherwise a great short hike!

Nice walk, worth doing it. Just take some hat, gloves and scarf. Cars must be stopped at parking some 500 meters away from the fall. There are coffee shops in nearby.

The mountains placed behind the waterfall make for a very nice photo opportunity. Stop here to enjoy the vista.

-it’s just a short hike and such a powerful waterfall -very windy and such a beautiful view -i think there’s more to see but we didn’t have the time to go further than the waterfall

We stopped here briefly while out trekking in the park. It was especially pretty when we passed by on the return as the late afternoon sun created rainbows in the mist of the waterfall.

The weather in Torre Del Paine was pretty unpredictable. It can drizzle 1 moment and become sunny the next. This waterfall was a short walk from the parking area and easy to reach. Good to visit even if it was raining. Lots of water. Nice!
