Went to Darwin Falls in the wintertime. It was a nice and relaxing place to be. Unfortunately the park is not opened and the parking lot is not opened either. There are a few spots in the beginning that you can use to park while you walk around. You can snowshoe or walk around but you do do st your... More

Went for an afternoon outing for some fresh air with friends after renting a cottage in St. Beatrix. The falls are nice and the trails are short and easily accessible. The cost at $10 per person was a little high as the site has no amenities, snack bar or other attraction. At the entrance there are Siamese conjoined trees.

Lovely waterfall, especially strong after a significant rainfall. Spend a few hours on one of the nature walks, including along the well maintained boardwalk. Small picnic and recreational area near entrance, but nicest part is away from the road and people. Free for Rawdon residents, so go with someone from village.

The picnic and the beach area is too small for outdoor activity , the traffic was so bad very congested like waiting for customs inspection . never go back there again sorry .

Nice little park in the city of Rawdon near Queen street wich is also worth a visit. The site is composed with stairs and trails to see the falls. Good place to relax and have a pic-nic while visiting the Lanaudière region. The park was used to film some scènes of the movie Timeline around 2003. A rock formation near... More

Nice place for picnic and short walk to falls and up River. Parking was plentiful if the gates were open. Although closed, small parking area up front near road was ok, but city missed a lot of revenue with all the visitors coming in. Well worth our time here as it was safe, clean and beautiful.

Being a resident of Rawdon, I do not need to pay admission to go see the Falls. However, even tourists can get in for free if they arrive in early spring or late fall. The walking trails are interesting, but not overly long, so that they are not tiring. Beware of strong currents in the river. So many people tempt... More

Fantastic scenics, nice walking trails. The falls are magnificent in early October, with all the fall colors at their best. Bring your camera.

This is a very cool park. The trails are not long but beautiful making them perfect for family's with small kids. This place is also a photographer's heaven, so many objects and things to play with. The entrence is not cheap (7$ per person) but it also includes 2 other parks (one is a beach) so bring a swimsuit (for... More

A word-of-mouth recommendation from photographer friend of a friend led us to make a day trip for beautiful vistas plus a subsequent weekend camping trip to visit this and other local attractions (do check out the delightful hidden garden behind ''Les Oiseaux de ma cour'' on Queen St.). Very well-maintained municipal park with a variety of trails differing in length,... More
