A great little museum with an excellent video, interesting artefacts, and lovely staff. The gift shop has some unique items. Overall, a must stop and visit.

Good place to visit ,interesting facts on history of Riverton takes about 45 minutes to tour .Has little souvenir shop

You cannot visit Riverton without heading into Te Hikoi. For a small town it has the best museum. First you start by watching a short video. And it just gets better and better after that so I won’t spoil it by explaining all the other...More

Beautifully presented theatre to kick of the visit. Surprisingly big! Has some fascinating stories. Well worth a visit when in Riverton

Get an overview of Riverton & surrounds. Go thru the museum & watch the history movie in the movie theatre...find out about the gems at gemstone beach. Get flyers for accomadation & activities in the area. Maps also available. Helpful staff
