If you visit The Rocks area in Riverton keep driving as far as the road takes you around the bays and you will finish up at Howells Point. The road ends here and you drive back the way you came. It is a lovely spot...More

If you just drive through Rivertown you will never know that this gem exists. Heaps of grassy areas with picnic tables, lovely beaches and rocky outcrops.

Lovely area to walk arround or just sit and.look at rocks and sea views.Well worth the short walk on the track to the back windswept beach.Views of Stewart Island in the distance on a clear day.Picnic tables to sit and take in the views
