My wife and I went there with our Monk friends from Sumtsaling Monastery. It was a fascinating place and so peaceful and calm. Highly recommended.

Big and Beautiful lake for horse riding and costume pictures. It is very windy and glaring weather. The horses are well-trained by the owners. The only disadvantage is the rides were less than 45 mins instead of the time given at one and a half...More

Shudu lake is located on higher grounds which is about 3900m above sea level. Very picturesque view with the light snow falling softly on our head. The sky looks gloomy though due to the snow but otherwise, very cooling with awesome sceneries.

You can walk one side of the lake, about 2 miles to the next tram station. It is flat and an easy walk. Take it slow with the high altitude.

It is one of the two beautiful lakes in Pudacuo National Park, you should definitely spend some time walking along the lake to enjoy the magnificent view and nature.

About an hour and a half's walk around this lake on a wooden board-walk. It's a well-managed park and just beautiful, I imagine, in every season. Flowers, animals, amazing trees......definitely worth a visit.
