In September many of the fancy flowers are finished, but there are still lots of flowers to see. The terrain is gorgeous and the variety enormous, from the bamboo forest to the lake and variety of aquatic plants, including carnivorous sundews and pitcher plants. And...More

This is a lovely garden sectioned off into different themes. It does have a lot of hydrangeas and rhododendrons as well as a large lake. If you like photography, there are plenty of opportunities for creative pictures. There is also a small genstone museum on...More

Well worth a visit! We enjoyed the garden particularly the aquatic garden! One of the best ponds we have visited! Lovely setting to eat a peaceful lunch. Purchased some plants from nursery! Hoping they will flourish in Cornwall. We would visit again!

We visited quite late in the day around 5.30pm - it's a great idea that the gardens stay open until 7pm when the days are hot but in hindsight I would have liked a bit more time to walk around the park and then visit...More

These gardens show plants from many different regions of the world in a tranquil and delightful setting. There is also a wonderful aquatic garden, complete with entertaining frogs jumping amongst the lily pads whilst sharing their loud choral singing, which covers a large area showing...More

Well sign posted, just off the main road. Looks like a garden centre - but they do sell plants as well. In May, the rhododendrons were in full bloom - and there's loads of them. They have a small lake which is full of frogs,...More
