Easy walks for small kids. You can take the cable car up and back own the mountain if you have small children.

We went for the Gondola up and the sledges going down. Not something that you can do if you have a bad back or any other health problems. The restaurant at the top had great Bavarian home cooked food.

We arrived in Bad Hindelang in glorious weather and headed straight to the gondola station. We ascended to the Hornbahn station and enjoyed the wonderful views over the valley and surrounding area. The scenery is spectacular from here.We started a downhill hike which took us to a great eating place The Horn which had great traditional food halfway down to... More

Visited here this April with my girlfriend. Very nice scenery and nice hiking trails. Also very good bike park! Even though there was some snow still on the upper parts of the DH-course, it was definitely worth the climb. It seems that on the DH course there was always different lines depending how experienced driver you are. So you don't... More

Lovely views from up here. Took the 'bubble' up here, and walked back down again, after spending an hour here having a drink with my family. It was quiet noisy with lots of small kids running around, and the odd smoker spoiled it a little.

The Hornbahn Hindelang offers some of the most sledding fun in the Alps. You can bring your own sled or rent one. Then the cable cars takes you to the top and you can chose between three sledding tracks. They are all about the same lenght (3.5km), but they end at different spots and different distances to the cable care... More

How great can sledging be? At the Hornbahn, they will show you how it's done. Cable car ride up and then over 3 km downhill. Snow machines make sure that there is enough of the white stuff to make you glide. Kids loved it.

Traveled up the Hornbahn cable car and then walked some of the tracks for a few hours. The weather was perfect (warning - you do burn quicker at higher altitude), the views were fantastic, the meadows were bursting with alpine flowers and butterflies. Could not fault it. There's a variety of walking tracks with different levels of difficulty - some... More
