The Juno Beach Centre is one of the best exhibits we have ever seen. Staffed by Canadians, everyone we met was very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately our timing did not coordinate with taking the tour, however it was absolutely worth going to see the exhibits...More

Though we were scheduled to go on a tour, the SNCF rotating strike put an end to that. We did rent a car in Paris and wound up at Juno Beach to see the Canadian D Day landing site. Very impressive, still some installations on...More

We appreciated both the indoor exhibits and the excellent tour. Despite history classes, books read and movies watched we were very surprised at how much we were learning at each memorial site and museum. We were told details during the tour at the June Beach...More

Wasn't sure what to expect, and wondered if it would be boring for our six-year old grandson. But it was a great mix of things to see and read out of doors, plus interactive displays and testimonies inside the museum with short, excellent documentary films....More

Most d days museums/ centers are 100% about the war. Juno is mix it with nature. The dunes and wildlife are very well presented. Add a general humbellness athmosphere and you get a better visit then in sword/UTAH

I have two quick complaints (for which I’ve docked a point :( ) and then I will give the praise this lovely museum is due. First of all, someone needs to correct the ridiculous mistake on the Canadian map in the first exhibit. I’ve attached...More

This is an excellent presentation of the Canadian efforts at Juno Beach. The staff are young interns, but very knowledgeable

Unfortunately there were a lot of children when I took my visit so I could not enjoy it as much as I had hoped. I completely recommend the guided tour as it was absolutely the best part of the museum. Got to see German bunkers...More

My rating increases from a four to a five because of the excellent explanations given by the two guides. These young Canadian guides are selected because they represent the typical age group of those soldiers who came to France to the Juno Beach on and...More

They have an anti aircraft and artillery gun on display and two engraved bunkers on the grounds. Then museum it self hold a number of interesting artifacts. But take into account that the museum also cover WWI. I got a few things out of it...More

This can be done in one day but you will miss a lot. The drive is over 3 hours and you could see a lot in 4 to six hours. Plus you need time for lunch by the sea. It is unfortunate not to see the US and British beaches, but... More
