Situated in the picturesque Surrey countryside, yet just 30 minutes from Central London, Sandown Park Racecourse is the versatile venue offering the best of both worlds. Watching the Action. Sandown Park's spacious, modern Grandstand has been designed to get you as close to the racing champions as possible, whilst taking in the stunning Surrey scenery. Don’t forget to take a trip down to the Parade Ring to have look at the thoroughbreds and choose your favourite to win before cheering them on with the crowds. The Premier Enclosure. Loved the concert. Tom Jones was great. However I felt it was a bit random where the stage was placed. It was on the concrete which was uneven and uncomfortable to stand on for two hours whilst watching Sir Tom's performance. There was seating which...More

Went in early July. Had a nice time. The course is well run and great to look at. Food and drink a little overpriced and big queues at each bar or food seller. Had a good time but have seen better

Shocking service in Premier Enclosure bars, the young people employed by this racecourse need some serious training, absolutely appalling.

Sandown Park Racecourse offers good facilities for a race-goer, but based upon this week's experience you are better of to just stick to the general admission or Premier enclosures. We went to the EQUUS restaurant, which is billed very highly (and priced to match) in...More

Attended the two day meeting at the end of April. Thought the facilities were excellent. Plenty of places to sit down and a variety of eateries. I had tasty toasted sandwich. The were seats close to the finish line. Overall a great experience.

Not sure about dress code, seems pretty casual? I can't imagine them refusing entry with trainers. They limit booze per person, I think it's half a bootle of wine or bubbly each? Or four cans or bottles of beer each? Soft... More
