We made a visit here as part of a three city tour. The Che Guevara Mausoleum and Museum, which it should really be called, was very interesting and worth the trip to Santa Clara. There are no photos allowed in the mausoleum or museum. Outside,...More

A place where we had to make a pilgrimage. A giant square reminiscent of Independence Square in Kiev or Red Square, Moscow. Built in 1987 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Che’s murder in Bolivia by the CIA. A giant, powerful bronze statue of Che...More

Should not come to Cuba without visiting this museum - gives you a wonderful understanding of Cuba's history - some telling photographs puts so much in perspective. Easy to get to from Havana so should be a must on any visit.

We went on a Tuesday, but Monday's seem to be a 1/2 day all over Cuba; so the Museum may we'll be closed on a Monday - many places are.
Hello, Is the museum open on Christmas day? Thanks!

Hi ..... I have no idea, check the website. I could well imagine that it is open - after all, Che Guevara was not someone who held religion dera to his heart.
I read on one website that Americans are not allowed in the museum. Is that true?
