We saved this trip for our last evening on the island. A relaxing trip down the coast with good conversation from our great guide Sava. We were given a couple of Piton beers to chill with.
Further into the trip, Sava expertly opened a couple of coconuts and made us coconut cocktails!!! A lovely surprise.
After lots of photo opps against the sunset, Sava drove us back to the bay full throttle. An exhilarating experience and the perfect way to end our holiday.

Best part of our trip! We got to pick what we wanted and also find out what is recommended by someone who has always lived here. Great beaches and amazing snorkeling! Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. They were great with our kids and really just made the trip amazing. The restaurant they took us to was perfect and locally owned. I wish we had gone through him to do the volcano tour that we did with a larger company, as he could have also arranged that when in the area. You get less than 20 minutes in the hot springs when you do the larger tours. While we had a car, driving long distances on the roads here with the constant switchbacks was not ideal for people prone to car sickness. The boat ride was fun and no worries of car sickness. We will definitely be using them for any land and or sea tours when we come back to St Lucia!

Charlie & Jeff took us by boat from Marigot Bay in time to see the sunset on our way to Gros Islet 's famous street party with live music, local food vendors and local restaurants. Charlie & Jeff ensured that we had an amazing experience blending in with the locals and tourist. They guided us through out the night ensuring we hit the best bars and restaurant for dining. Dancing in the street was the highlight. They took great care of us. Highly recommend going by boat.

Denver put together a wonderful personalised trip for us. We wanted to revisit Soufriere from Marigot Bay and water seemed the perfect solution. Denver timed the visit perfectly to give us plenty of time to visit the botanical gardens, do some shopping and a stroll around the village, then a sunset cruise back to Marigot Bay, just in time for moon rise.. Great value for money, I can highly recommend Shashamane Water Taxi. Great communication setting up the trip. 5 stars! AM>

Great local vibe with host Denver. We went out twice and will probably go out a couple more. Irie translates to feeling good and sums up the Shashamane experience. Yes-I. With all the money thrown around on St. Lucia it’s best to direct your activities towards locals rather than have your hotel book your excursions in my opinion.

What a wonderful experience, I had the fortunate experience to accompany some charity volunteers on a trip to Soufriere, we went down by bus and after viewing the beautiful attractions in Soufriere ( Botanical Gardens is a must do) we joined the boat at Hummingbird Beach. Captain Denver was an absolute star, putting both myself and other at ease with his huge smile and kind, professional conduct. We left the beach and proceeded over to the bat cave which is in a nearby cliff, Cpt Denver informed us that you could often see and here the bats - not today though as it was too hot and they were sleeping. We then proceeded up the coast at a nice pace, viewing all the little fishing villages and the interior of the island from Denvers comfortable boat. We arrived at Anse Couchon where we anchored and swam and snorkelled in the crystal clear waters, Captain Denver was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and even told us a few stories about the island, all in all a fantastic day, it made my week!

Sava's welcoming and charismatic nature combined with his deep knowledge and excellent teaching skills make him a natural-born tour guide. We had an excellent day with him, touring the West coast of Saint Lucia from Marigot Bay to Sandy Beach and back. He taught us the names and histories for stops along the way. We passed boats packed with tourists, rushing from site to site which made us even more grateful to have the Shashamane Experience. On our private tour, Sava allowed us to set the pace, taking the time to fully experience each stop as well as the landmarks we saw from the boat. He also customized our experience to fit our interests and abilities. Saint Lucia is phenomenal no matter how you decide to experience it but if you want to spend the day with a truly wonderful person who will provide you with memories to last a lifetime, take a tour with Shashamane Experience!

Denver was an outstanding host and very accommodating with our requests while staying in Marigot Bay. He picked us up at the airport and took us to Massy grocery in Cul du Sac, on the way to our villa in Marigot Bay. Later in the week he took us on his boat to hike Gros Piton. He was there 4 hours later when we finished with water, soda, and beers. On the way back to Marigot Bay he took us to the town of Soufriere where we had an excellent local lunch and quick tour of the town square. Another day he took us by boat to Anse Chastanet Beach for the day which was fantastic. On our last day he took us back to the airport. Denver and his staff are very friendly and will create any day trip you would like. He made our stay special in Marigot Bay and we will definitely be back. It looks like from the other reviews that he offers other fun day trips as well which we will take advantage of next time. We chose not to rent a car because of the services and value Denver provided us, money better spent with him for sure.

Very enjoyable and relaxing sunset trip from beautiful Marigot Bay with Denver. When he wasn't giving us interesting information about the local area he was singing along to gentle reggae music. A great way to enjoy the Saint Lucia vibe.

A wonderful day with Charlie and Jeff - picked up from a jetty in Marigot Bay and taken along the coast to the Pitons with stops for snorkelling, sunbathing at Sugar beach, lunch in Soufriere, the Bat cave and then a jump off some rocks. Charlie knew a lot about the history along the coast and Jeff provided a good flow of drinks - the rum punch was the best we tasted on the island. A great day and thoroughly recommended.

We are visiting St. Lucia in May of 2023 and plan to use this company for our excursions. We would like to see Marigot Bay, possibly the volcano, Diamond Falls and the Botanical Gardens, maybe the mineral bath, possibly the Tet Paul Nat
ure Trail, view of the Pitons. Can we do all of that in one day, or should we plan on 2?
We would not be doing any snorkeling. I wear glasses, so we plan to take advantage of a glass bottom boat tour to see the marine life. What would we need to take with us as far as supplies for the day? How should we dress?
Any suggestions or recommendations are welcome!😊

I will be staying in Marigot Bay for 3 days. I won't meet up with my group until later in week. Do you take solo travelers or just groups? I am just a fair swimmer but would like to snorkel. Do you provide mask, fins, and flotation vests for snorkeling? What estimate would you give me for a day tour for me alone?

Hi - Six of us will be traveling to St. Lucia April 8th through the 18th. We'll be staying right in Marigot Bay and were hoping we could walk to Shshamane Water Taxi & Tours and do a few different type of day trips. Maybe one to Soufriere and one to Pigeon Island. What is the cost for six people? We are thinking about renting a car but thought maybe it would be best to do a few boat trips and save money on a car rental. Thank you!

You absolutely right, it faster ,easier and safer to travel by water taxi .sure you can find us at the marigot bay on la bas beach. We charge 50 us per person to Soufriere and back and 50us per person to pigeon island and back.hope the information is helpful.
