The shore is nice. In general it is as pretty as pigeon lake. There is not too much to do except hiking, swimming, yacht sort of stuff. Needed more stores near by the shore,

We are here right now and last night was a nightmare! Loud, rowdy partiers just a couple of sites down. We're easy-going people and I won't begrudge someone a good time but this was over the top. Yelling, hooting and hollering until 3:00 am is just too much. Not the fault of the management but there is not one park... More

Nice campground. Big lots. Needs a boat launch. Great playground for younger children. Good family spot. Well managed.

We liked this campground because it had lots of mature trees and greenery between the campsites which gave privacy unlike so many that are sparse or parking lot style. The space between the sites was also more than average. We found the bathrooms, garbages and recycling bins to be more than adequate. There is a fire pit for an open... More

The campsite is standard Alberta provincial park with nicer than average washrooms and shower area but there wasn't enough of them. We were in site 139 at the end of one of the loops and we had to walk quite a ways to use the bathroom. A few more bathrooms or even outhouses would have been appreciated. There is really... More

My family went for a weekend, it was a nice spot, but we were surrounded by noisy people drinking and blasting music all day/night. Normally I wouldn't mind but we had our 5 year old with us. It was also a bit of a walk to the nearest bathroom and park. The only thing that really sucked was there was... More

Nice, decent sized sites with privacy-just not quiet at night. We hated turning off the generator at night, as then we had to listen to the neighboring sites party through the night. Nice amenities though, and access to nearby services. If you are a family looking for a piecefull getaway though, you may want to go elsewhere.

We stayed here and had a great time. There are tons of trails around the grounds you can hike or bike that go straight to the lake. As long as you don't mind climbing down a little cliff. We did with our young ones and went swimming in the lake. It was almost better then driving to sylvan lake where... More
