Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you like cathedrals, this is definitely one you'll love. It has wonderful stained glass windows and architecture, but the spire is something else. The hearts, clubs, spades and diamonds are apparently a nod to the funding.
What's more, there are plenty of bars, cafes places to eat in the cathedral square and a very interesting mirror sculpture outside.

Beautiful cathedral in a wonderful village to walk around. The cathedral is located on a lovely square with restaurants and shops all around it.

Beautiful cathedral in a small village. There was a service on when we visited, so we loved listening to the beautiful singing.

We stopped on a Sunday, and the service went on until after noon. After we could walk around - interesting for a village - pictures of past pastors was interesting. If you are in the area, ok for a quick stop, but would not go out of my way.

Despite many cathedral tours throughout France, the cathedral in Treguier ranked as one of the top for small villages.

If you give thought to just how long ago this was constructed, its largesse seems somewhat incongruous in keeping with this rural area. Certainly worth the trip if you’re in the area.

The beautiful XI century tower of Normandy was not to be missed.
We visited on a quite Monday and were blown away. The whole town was charming and could have been straight from a film set. Not to be missed are the cloisters and worth the €2 entrance fee.

We visited on a Monday when Treguier was really quiet. On a really nice square surrounded by cafes. The cathedral itself is well worth a visit - the stained glass windows are stunning

This is a huge place, and not at all pretty in the Anglican sense of white paint, elaborate ceilings and gold highlights. Dark stone walls, basic utilitarian seating, make it all look rather uninviting until you look at the many beautiful windows, which make the visit worthwhile.

We come to the area around every 20 years, and I make a point of looking in on the holy relic of the skull of St Yves, rather brown with age but tastefully displayed. I like to check that they are taking good care of the only part of the old boy still left. The nearby statue of him shows an affable looking old guy, who evidently did - and still does - a great deal to make people's lives that much happier.

I have, however, a niggling worry. Call me obsessive, but a long detailed study of the statue, taking into account scale, viewing angle etc, leads me to think that the skull is rather too small and the wrong shape to fit. Has anyone else noticed this?

We entered late afternoon and peaceful recorded music was being played. The building dominated the town square so is easy to find!
