Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great food & service. A little gem. Nice shop too. Ideal for families with little children. I think they also let dogs in

Lovely bright cafe, pleasant outlook. Excellent food, well presented, served efficiently by friendly staff. Visit regularly, never been disappointed. Pretty reliable source of Clydesdale apple juice too!

As a first time visitor to Langloch Farm my wife and i were looking forward to a snack in the cafe before taking a stroll through the farm grounds.
We went in and were warmly greeted by the staff and sat at a table and ordered 2 bacon rolls a tea and a coffee, the driks promptly arrived followed soon by the bacon rolls as were about to tuck in i noticed something on my roll! --spots of MOULD on it. I told my wife to look at hers and it was the same- absolute disgust. I did complain and was asked if i wanted a replacement -- the customers at the table opposite asked what was wrong and they were shocked as well. Our first visit will unfortunately be our last.

I come to Langloch regularly with my brother, who has special needs. The cafe/shop staff are always friendly and welcoming and happy to adapt our order to suit our requirements. Lovely bright café with toys for children and views out to a small courtyard with tubs of flowers. The shop has a range of local crafts and toys as well as produce made on the premises. We always walk the nature trail after our coffee, which, although designed for children, is the perfect length for an adult with some mobility issues. The path is just wide enough for 2 people to walk side by side. In winter, it has the boardwalk is often surrounded by water, while in summer there is a variety of wild flowers and insects. It's an excellent resource for anyone with children, with a bug hotel, outdoor learning station and seating and shelters. Langloch also has a play park.

My partner and myself visit once a fortnight and every time we leave saying it is the best place locally for food. Whoever is coming up with the amazing soups, we can only give the highest praise. Everyone, no matter how bizarre it sounds, they are incredible.
What kind of mind puts panchetta, pear and walnuts in a soup? Honestly, absolutely brilliant.
And bacon marmalade? Omg.. That was stunning.

If you are in Lanark or fancy a trip, you will not be disappointed.

Intrigued to find more about the nature trails and other activities but this is just a review of the cafe and gift shop. Stopped for coffee and cake. It was delicious, service friendly, very reasonable and clean. Parking outside. Only one toilet but very clean. I will come back and explore more.
