Stunning

Went here just to see the falls and was not disappointed in the least. They are stunning and it is a lovely area to just sit and watch the world go by!

This is a thing that must be seen, especially after a heavy rain shower. This is a photographers paradise. Please do not miss this. The walking from New Lanark up the River Clyde to this wonderful site is out of this world. Google New Lanark and read the history behind the beautiful village. This is all part of the Industrial Revolution.... More

Such a beautiful place, mother nature works her miracles here. Simply stunning. And a lovely place to take a walk......suggest flat shoes and only take the walk if you have no mobility issues

Hard to believe that just thirty miles or so downstream this is the Clyde of Glasgow, and 15 miles after that the wondrous Firth of Clyde. Well worth a hike, plenty of good riverside hostellries around, and several other attractions. Obviously best seen on a good day... or when the Clyde is in spate.

The walk along the Clyde Walkway is one of my favourites in the area. It is an easy walk and you can go as far as you want before turning back. I recommend that you go as far as Cora Linn to seen the waterfall there, but going further is equally lovely.

Gorgeous setting. Lovely family day out for all ages. Really enjoyed our walk and the beautiful scenery. Old mill building is stunning.

The walk out from New Lanark through the woods follows the river with nice paths and decking along the edge before you start to pant going uphill. When you get to the top and walk around the falls looking down it is a great view - wish it had been raining hard for a few days before to see it... More

The two of us went on a lovely walk along the river from the visitor centre. The boardwalk is very well maintained, although still slightly slippy at times, and there were a couple of muddy patches. Otherwise, this was a great walk - though there are a couple of steeper sections so those less mobile might find it tougher.

The walking routes are fantastic and accessible for families with young children. Simply stunning. If you are in the area make sure to visit.
