The river is beautiful at any time, but we were lucky to see it after heavy rain, and the waterfalls were magnificent

If you can go to the falls when there has been heavy rain the falls are superb and if you go mid spring early summer you may see the the Falcons on there nest. The hide is there to see the Falcons The walk along the river is first class and easy.

The walk through the woods and views are exceptional, it is hard work in places but well worth it. There are many viewpoints along the route, at the beginning of the walk there are maps to assist you along the route.

THe falls are really marvelous! There's a walking route around along the riverside up and down and it's quite easy to do.

From New Lanark Mill take a walk up the river Clyde. When there has been a lot of rain the falls are spectacular.

So much to see within the area. Rich in history with access to buildings of Interest in The World Heritage Village, right on the Hotel's doorstep. Recommend a walk to the Falls of Clyde.

Well worth the walk, despite the rain. The paths, steps and walkways are all well maintained which enables the walker to get some excellent views of the Falls of the Clyde. Must have been amazing when the Victorians took the airs in theri finery.
