Dutton Meadows is a nine hole course in rural Southwestern Ontario. There are certainly some good things to say about it; the staff are friendly, the food in the clubhouse is pretty good, the course layout is decent with a few challenging holes, and the greens are generally well maintained. But then there are some big cons to the course as well. The main problem is with drainage and watering. The fairways have poor drainage and aren't watered, so they tend to be either muddy or parched. Additionally, the owners don't seem to put much money or effort into making the place look nicer... there are piles of rotting wood sitting around, the wooded areas are full of dead standing Ash trees, and the one outhouse is usually pretty horrible. The bottom line is that the course isn't worth paying the full green fee for, especially when it is about the same as you'd pay at Wardsville which is a far nicer course. They do occasionally have good specials on, and that's really the only time I'll go now.…
