Excellent afternoon tea at this cafe. Delicious selection of savouries and sweet cakes all beautifully presented. If we lived nearer this would be a regular of ours.

A gem of a find!
Feb 2020 • Couples
Superb Arts and Crafts house, lovely interior and history. Great little shop selling cards etc and the possibility of buying original pictures. The Tiffany glass is beautiful. The gardens I expect will be too in the summer. The studios offer regular workshops in many different crafts.
There is a good cafe in the main house also.
My only niggle was the lack of welcome or acknowledgement on entering the building, both ladies were engrossed in their conversation. I approached another lady, who explained everything with great enthusiasm. I believe she was the gallery manager, she gave us a floor plan and brief history of the building.
Well done to her and the commitment she has for the future.

A relatively unknown gem of a place!

Superb Arts and Crafts house. It would be great with nothing in it, but the Tiffany Collection really is stunning! Well lit, well explained, well displayed. My eyes were really opened.
And a lovely cafe. And very nice, knowledgeable staff.
Highly recommended.

Fabulous building and collection.

A second visit for me to this lovely Arts and Crafts house with its artworks and the fantastic collection of Tiffany glass wares. We were lucky enough to be there when the curator was showing a group around and explaining the different techniques used as well as the history and the characters.
The cafe is very pleasant and has table service and a good range of food and drinks available.
There is no charge for entry but donations are welcome.

Wedding
Oct 2019 • Couples
Arrived for a wedding taking place today. Had a look around the venue and art gallery. We went into the bar area to get a drink prior to the ceremony starting. We were sat having a drink whilst hearing ‘Joe’ a bar tender complaining unprofessionally about wedding guests arriving who can’t sit down without ordering food and also that wedding attendees can’t just stand around outside the bar area. Very unprofessional and had a bad attitude. Will definitely not be ordering another drink or spending any money at the ‘bar’ again. The fact there isn’t any organisation into finding a seating area that is appropriate for wedding guests to sit at isn’t acceptable especially for myself who is 33+ weeks pregnant. Really dissatisfied and disappointed with the bar staff. Very unhelpful.

We are very sorry that you had a poor experience in the bar area of The Gallery Kitchen (which is a separate business to Haworth Art Gallery). We have taken this matter up with the Gallery Kitchen proprietor, who in turn, has discussed this with his staff. Please accept our sincere apologies, Weddings at the Haworth Team.

Gallery and Restaurant are worth a visit
Jul 2019
Right on the top of a hill is a park and art gallery with a restaurant too!
The Tiffany glass upstairs is wonderful and the small shop has a delight of postcards and gifts.
The views are amazing and the welcome inside the gallery is warm and friendly!
The restaurant opens at 10 but the gallery doesn’t open til 12.
The menu is interesting and the food is very good and well served.
Do pop in and spend an afternoon there!
