About Canoe Moulin de la Malene
Moulin de La Malène proposes you canoe or kayak descent of the most beautiful part of the Tarn, between Sainte Enimie and Cirque des Baumes or Pas de Soucy, including the crossing of the Straits. We offer courses adapted to all levels and of varying lengths (6 circuits from 8 to 24 km). The Tarn, which takes its source at Mont Lozère, descends the slopes of the Cévennes of a fast and torrentous course. The Tarn sculpted the limestone plateaus (Causses Méjean and Causses de Sauveterre) and erosion gave the Gorges tormented forms that contrast their relief to the serenity of the Causses

Even though it looks like being packed and chaotic, it hs a really good organization and you don't have to wait for your equipment at all. We've canoed from La Maléne to the pas de Soucy and the gorge is spectacular.

My family drove along Gorge du Tarn and stopped in Malene to take the gondolas down the rivers. However, we also discovered that you could canoe instead. It was cheaper, and looked more fun and seemed like good exercise, so we canoed instead. What a...More
