When you arrive, just walk on up to the door and buzz, to ask for a tasting. The tasting room was full, so we were taken in the back, to the family kitchen. And it was fantastic!! We just sat there as members of the...More

Domaine Weinbach seemed to be at the top of their class with grand cru and estate offerings -- and the only top rated winery from three we contacted that could receive us that weekend. Catherine Faller was both courteous and charming leading our group of...More

If you visit the area, you MUST visit the Weinbachs, and try their amazing wines. They are expensive, but worth every penny. Buy at least one bottle and save it for something truly special. The most amazing wines, the most amazing hosts.

An ordinary recent wine is typically Eur 30-50. Vendagne tardives from a remarkable year might be 100+.
