Enjoyed the visit. There was interesting history for me and my husband, and interesting science for our kids. Tour guide was courteous and knowledgeable. Happy we did it.

I have been here a couple of times in the past but still recommend it to anyone visiting Ghana. Just 100kms north of Accra and easy to access.

Beautiful place for any visit, less busy. the Akosombo hotel have some nice view location for your refreshment. Its not far from Tema, you can go on the same day and return back to Accra. I am looking forward of return back for visit again.

You pay 15 sidi and you get a guide who will tell you all about the dam that was build, you get a tour and facts. Really enjoyed it. Educational and beautiful view over the Volta lake.
