Dive 30m/100ft to the seabed of the Atlantic without getting wet! We seat 44 passengers. Our submarine is built to a very high specification and cost over 3 million euros. It is designed for safety and total comfort so our passengers can fully enjoy their diving experience. The cabin is spacious and is maintained at normal atmospheric conditions, so pregnant women, heart patients and persons with ear problems will not be affected in any way. We offer a free daily bus service from Costa Teguise, Puerto Del Carmen and Playa Blanca directly to us at Puerto Calero.

The staff are lovely! We got the pick up and return with a bit of free time before the submarine. There’s a digital Photo Booth inside the store which is a nice touch. They also take a photo of you as you’re boarding the submarine. We saw lots of fish but no sting rays or anything else. It’s a cool experience. About 15/20 minutes out one way and then turn and come back so regardless of which side you sit you get to see everything.

Good experience for all ages. Can get some great photos, found quite relaxing. Informative narration with headphones in different languages. If my 2 boys now men were younger they would have loved it.

Well organised with bus pick up and drop off.
A unique experience being in a submarine. Our grandchildren in particular loved the trip.
Great to the commentary via headphones in many languages.
Didn't feel cramped or claustrophobic at all.
After looking at other photo's on Safari website and other reviewers photos prior to our trip we were disappointed we saw so few fish.
However we fully understand that marine life cannot be controlled.
Despite that we enjoyed our adventure.

A great experience.

It was an experience to tick off the bucket list but a little underwhelming. A long bus ride to Puerto Calero for 35 mins underwater looking at a few varieties of fish and a lot of sea bed and 3 wrecks. We skipped the coach back and got the water taxi back to Puerto Del Carmen old town and the number 3 bus back to La Playa Jameos.

Thanks for your feedback Jules. The bus ride from Jameos Playa (your hotel) to Puerto Calero where the submarine is based, is less than 10 km. Depending on traffic and number of clients to pick up - the transport on our free courtesy coach could take up to 30 min. The dive on the Submarine is one hour including boarding, so you spend approx 45 minutes inside the submarine. Yes we have 3 ship wrecks and they are normally teaming with marine life but every dive is different. Thanks for your comment.

Brilliant submarine experience! Submarine big enough that you dont feel enclosed. Large porthole windows for everyone. It takes you up to 100ft down and the visibility is so clear. Shipwrecks and fish everywhere. There are audio headphones for running info. The crew/skipper were great. A fun trip.

A fun little trip out. There are headphones to listen to an audio commentary which is really interesting. Lots of fish to see and the shipwrecks too. I would recommend this trip, however if you get the chance to go snorkelling in Lanzarote, I wouldn't bother going snorkelling and doing the submarine, as you'll see the same fish but without the feeling of being in the water with them. So unless you're not able to go snorkelling or just really want to go in a submarine (which is a cool thing to be able to say) I would say don't bother doing both as you'll see pretty much the same things.

Well organised trip, nice experience in a safe and comfortable environment. As soon as we were seated in the submarine, fish swimming past the window. Short trip but we did see shipwrecks, barracudas plenty of bass varieties, overall nice experience and worth the money.

Brilliant trip, definitely will do again full of information about the dive and wrecks. OK for people with partial mobility, if you can hold onto rails and descend/ ascend vertical ladders you will be ok. Not suitable for wheelchair users. You cannot eat or drink on the submarine but there are drinks and food available around the area. Pick up from hotel and drop off back. Brilliant service, brilliant staff definitely recommend . I don't want to spoil it with lots of photos.

No but You actually go to the gift shop for a safety talk first which has public toilets next door.
Does a diver still go down with the submarine? The diver has food and obviously attracts more fish. I had heard they had stopped this.

There wasn’t a diver when we did this last week, but they did have an automatic feeder on the submarine that attracted the fish, the most exciting for us was seeing a few barracuda
