Juan was an excellent instructor and guide. We drove to different locations to find the best dive site as the sea was rough in places. He wanted to make sure visibility was good and the dive was safe. In the end we found a beautiful spot and had an unforgettable dive with amazing rock formations, lots of marine life including cuttlefish, trumpet fish and a big sting ray. Highly recommended!

STAY AWAY FROM THAT GUY.
In early November, I purchased a PADI OWD course and ended up losing my money. I was abruptly canceled on just minutes before scheduled appointments twice, each time being told that we couldn't dive due to bad weather. This was confusing since, according to PADI, beginners should first learn the basics in a pool for safety reasons, not in open water.
On the day the course was supposed to start, I came to Puerto de Santiago and I discovered that the address listed for this Scuba Diving Center was actually an abandoned location (I have attached pictures for reference). When I called the owner, he informed me that we couldn’t dive that day due to bad weather.
The second time, I was waiting for the instructor to pick me up from my hotel (a service advertised on his website). Fifteen minutes before he was supposed to arrive, he called and said he wouldn’t come because the weather in Puerto de Santiago was unsuitable for diving. He suggested that if I still wanted to dive that day, I could travel to the south of the island to meet him, but he couldn't guarantee that we would be able to dive.
The guy didn’t want to return the money, because “its was against the company policy”.
This experience was not only a financial loss but also a major source
of stress and significantly destroyed my vacation.

I have done two easy dives with Juan and another customers in the playa de montagna amarilla. The site is easy accessible from the shore and has flat terrain, rocks, caves and wide variaty of marine life.
Juan is an experienced and knowledgable instructor who knows the area very well, always focused on safety and comfort of the clients. Thank you very much for the great experience.

Great day, great dive! I went on two dives with Juan and one other diver. I do not have much experience but he made me feel safe and answered any question promptly.
The spot he chose made for relaxed diving even though the sea was rough in orher areas and we saw a bunch of wild life. Highly recommended diving school!

The highlight off my holiday in Tenerife. I did the Basic diver course and it was an amazing experience. The diving instructor Juan Ramon picked me up at the hotel and learned me the basics of scuba diving. He is a great instructeur and teaches everyone at their own pace.
After the basic training we went for a dive in open water and i loved it!
Would recommend this to everyone!

Dived 4 dives over 2 days in february with divemaster Juan. All dives were amazing. Juan is an excellent and very patient instructor. It was quite windy both days, with high waves on the local beach. With his excellent knowledge of the area we were still able to find good dive spots. Couldnt recommend this divecenter any higher!!!

I love diving with this outfit. Juanra is always knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I have some (minor) mobility issues which he’s aware of and he plans the dives accordingly.
His mantra has two elements: (1) always a safe dive and (2) always a chilled dive.
Juanra never over promises. This time we we had four dives and saw three types of rays, octopus, loads of fish and an angel shark.
Highly recommended.

If you contact the dive centre direct they will do everything to help and advise, they may organise a family snorkelling event to suit your retirements, you could ask about a try dive, which they may be able to run while your youngest did some snorkelling, they are a well run and very freindly centre, I can highly recommend this dive centre
