Literally the worst course I’ve ever played. Payed an extortionate amount to play, the tee boxes were like concrete, the fairways were like concrete, the greens were average. After managing decent drive, the balls would bounce off the fairway and be lost instantly. Stopped playing...More

An extremely interesting course with many panoramic vantage points, some long par 4's for middle handicaps. But some very interesting par 3's. Relaxing atmosphere in the club house or on the terrace. Please remember to hire a buggy, it hot and it's undulating.

I played today having paid €60 to include buggy. How disappointed I am. I have never played a course in such a bad state of affairs. Sadly I cannot praise any part of it. Tees rough and long. Fairways non existent as the grass has...More

Great course for a chilled out round of golf with a few challenges on the way. Greens in excellent condition, staff in pro shop and club house very welcoming, and the course has some great views. Well worth a visit.

The course has been a bit neglected but it has been sold and will be closed for 6 month and all 18 holes will be refurbished. After it will make an interesting and popular course again!

I visited this lovely friendly club last month with a view to joining. I was advised not to by previous members and management because the club is closing for 6 months to reinvent itself with a huge improvement to club and every hole. I am...More

We owned a house on this golf course for 16 years and we have watched it gradually go downhill. We, in fact, owned a golf share when things were good, but since it went bankrupt that has disappeared! The attached hotel also went bankrupt, not...More

Duquesa Golf was never a top course to play but in recent times it has become a bit of a joke. The fairways are scorched and there is a real lack of any understanding how to tend to a course that is in the sun...More

Many have commented on the poor condition of the course, few have explained why or that they paid a significantly lower fee. The hotel and course went into receivership back in 2008 approx. Since then a very dedicated small number of staff have continued to...More

I have been told the buyers who bought the course etc have now bought the hotel. There seems to be confusion over when renovations will start on the hotel and the course.
