Smaller than Le Thoronet, Senanque and Silvercane abbeys this abbey in La Celle is authentically renovated in super condition and comes with a very informative leaflet explaining it's Roman origin. Wonderful XII century architecture, but I'm not sure, whether the leaflet is available in anything...More

This is a very pleasing setting and yet not necessarily enhanced by the food. Pleasant food and wine and yet more expensive than necessary. All the members of staff that we encountered were very pleasant and professional.

Very creative, fresh food put together with care and discipline. I especially enjoyed the savory variety of garden grown vegetables. Meats are always tender, sauces are delicate, and fish is always prepared with perfect herbs and never dry. Desserts are to die for- always with...More

We have stayed here several times before, always in the suites in the Beguinage, which have a private garden. The staff are totally professional and the hotel and grounds are kept in immaculate order. Dinner and breakfast overlooking a lovely lawn are delightful. We had...More
