If you're visiting Kylemore, you really must save some time to visit this little chapel. It's just a short walk from the main Abbey. It's simply beautiful, and so intimate inside. We were fortunate to be there one afternoon when it was not very busy....More

As an act of love for his dead wife, this mini cathedral is beautiful. So look at the angels that replaced the gargoyles. You will enjoy the serenity of the estate. We loved it

This little chaple tucked away in the woods houses the ashes of the original owners of the estate; William Henry and his beloved wife Margaret.

Gorgeous chapel- the marble was beautiful- we were told about the Connemara marble before this stop so it made seeing the four colors of marble even more interesting!!! 😍😍loved all the tiny details on this chapel- def understood how much Henry Mitchell loved his wife!!

... this needs a separate review? It’s part of the whole exhibit and pretty interesting. Note where the most recent family member felt their plaque ought to go...

Part of the Kylemore Abbey property, this was originally the private chapel of the owner of the property before it became an abbey. When we were there, they had a harpist playing Irish airs. It was quite nice.

This "chapel" was actually fairly large for a "small chapel" and quite ornate inside. We did enjoy it.

The previous owners of Kylemore Estate are buried in this mausoleum. Title is wrong... Dr. Michell Henry built this for his wife, Margaret, and later he was buried there alongside.
