Bewl Water Bike Hire Not great, arrived at 1400 to be told be back by 1600 even though they advertise on the website to close at 1700. Map given out but route very poorly signposted. Chain came off loose derailleur wheel and ruined the afternoon. Also, Southern Water essential construction works causes confusion at the north section not stating where the actual cycle route is along the Dam wall.

We took a trip with 8 of us to try the aqua park. We had a really good time and it was fun. However, there is definitely ways the experience could be improved. Firstly, it is extremely dirty, which although is understandable around the edges on the lake, there was bird poo all over the aqua park and look like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Also there is no access to sufficient shower facilities and staff members could be a bit more accommodating. Bewl water though is always worth the visit.

If you own a power chair you might be ok. Manual wheel chair is a no-no. Path from disabled parking area is too steep. Paths difficult to manage [uneven]. Outside cafe paving could be more level. For the able bodied a nice place, lots to do. For the wheelchair user....nothing. Even cost me £7 parking for 1 hour

Decided to take the dog for a walk around Bewl Water and it cost £7.00 to park the car! So after 1 hour we had lunch then left, we had paid £7.00 for 2 hours. very expensive dog walk, won't do that again. It should be like Ashford Designer car park, A camera takes your number plate on the way in and you pay for your length of stay on the way out! That way everyone's a winner!!
