This was an unexpected delight, a highlight of our trip to the south of France. A tribute to an important painter by his daughter, who still oversees the place, it is intimate and personal in a way that few tourist attractions can be. Even the...More

Marie has lovingly restored this house to be a museum to display her father's beautiful paintings. Although our guide had to interpret for her one could tell how proud she is of her dad and thrilled that she could share it with us.

A very gracious Marie has created a wonderful tribute to her father, Pierre. The story of Pierre's escape from the Germans was so emotional. This is a 'must see' when in France.

Marie Pulau, the artists daughter is carrying on his heritage after his death in 2005. Their are also some Matisse sketches. My tastes go in a different direction, but it was a pleasant stop.
