Stayed in Furano for 6 days and it snowed almost constantly! As hotel guests, full day lift tickets were ¥5000 per adult. As we are from Western Canada, I'd consider this a good intermediate Hill for the most part with a few challenging area if you like the trees. Most slopes are fairly wide open and well groomed although we... More

The skiing at Furano is excellent, with wide cruisy runs combined with some off piste and other challenges. The lift system is also very good, getting you easily from the Kitanomine side to the New Prince Hotel side, where the big ropeway and a couple of chairs get you everywhere. It did get a bit busy with school groups on... More

Stayed here skiing for a week in Jan 17 ... snow is excellent (dry powder) and the night skiing is excellent. The slopes are also relatively protected from the wind. 5 days is probably sufficient for most people as resort not huge. Stay at the New Furano Prince Hotel for ski-in, ski-out.

Furano Ski Resort is amazing. Huge runs lined by trees, loads of lifts and lots of different terrain. We loved being able to buy a 3 hour pass any time of the day.

The Furano Ski Place is located right behind the New Furano Prince Hotel. There are 3 lifts providing different degree of slopes for different level of skiers. Excellent place for family and groups.

This is a moderately sized resort. The outstanding feature is the nature of the snow - it is soft and light on and off piste. There are great beginners areas and several more challenging runs. There are no terrain parks but a great area on the Kitanonime side where kids can make tracks between the trees on a gentle green... More

We arrived on Dec 14. Kitanomine Zone was not open till Dec 17. Furano zone is comparatively smaller than Kitanomine Zone. We enjoy very much for the skiing in Kitanomine zone.

We learnt how to ski very well there. There were beginner, intermediate and advanced slopes. It was very family friendly.

enough varieties for the snow attractions.. banana boats, rafting, sliding, snow mobil, etc... the area isnt so big for the attractions. made us easier to watch the kids and when we came the park was still quiet... felt like a private park for us and d kids... we didnt check the ski area.. cant comment on that.
