Charming but it's really just a wine shop

I've given it a generous rating as I'd been walking for about 4 hours and was getting very VERY rained on when I got here. I hung up my drenched jacket and sipped some samples... read more

I've given it a generous rating as I'd been walking for about 4 hours and was getting very VERY rained on when I got here. I hung up my drenched jacket and sipped some samples whilst I dried off for half an hour, as bus tours came and went. The red is decent, the rose a bit sweet for me,... More

I think you can skip it if your travelling time is not too much. Just a place selling wine and stuffs, not really a place in expectation.

Coming over to get a feel of what a Japanese winery would be different versus a true chateau in France, it was a fairly big disappointment. There is only a self-guided tour without much to see in the winery, and there is also no tour around the vineyards which can be provided. The tasting is also lackluster with the wines... More

Best to visit during summer when lavender blooms!! These patches are located next to the building and car park. Otherwise, this is basically a wine tasting cum wine retail location with a bit of history and info on wine production, unlike most other decent cellar doors. A few samples are offered, my favourite being the blush or Rose which is... More

We went on a Friday & other than the free wine testing of 2 types of wine, there is nothing to do here. Except for a shop selling wine & some exhibits of wine making & history. We stay here for less than 15min.

The factory offers a couple of options to tour the wine production labelling or just proceed to sample the red and white wines that are available. They also sell the bottles of wine and other wine related products like wine jellies and chocolates. Main highlight was the grape juice that they were selling which tasted pretty good. Good as a... You can taste local red and white wine (White wine is awesome :) ). This place provides you important information of wine production process in detail.

The highlight of this winery is the lavender field that isn't filled with tourists unlike Farm Tomita. Photos are a must. The wine is decent. I think Hokkaido offers much better sake and whisky. This winery isn't easily reached by public transport. Taxi or the infrequent local attractions bus. A car is most convenient here. Don't expect anyone manufacturing wine... More

Not exactly a must go, but probably worth checking out if you're in the area and want to know what Furano wines taste like. You can try to red, white or sweet wine as well as the grape juice. They provide little plastic cups for wine tasting. The shop also sells other things like wine jellies and chocolates.

There was nothing much to see. No wine production activities, limited wine cellars and storage, limited exhibits and a shop Unless you are in the vicinity with time to kill, there are better wine factories in Hokkaido
