Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The wine they give for the free samples is pretty gross. Compared to California it’s not even close, but perhaps that’s indicative of how spoiled we are. You can pay 200 yen for a 20 to 30 ml sample of their wines. They have a self service tour downstairs for you to see their production.

Don't expect to be impressed, this is a tiny winery with middling wine. You can take a self tour here but there's very little to see of the winery.
The best part is the free samples of wine and the ability to drink with a view of the mountains if that's your thing, that's my thing.
The tour itself isn't worth the steps in your pedometer. The free samples were alright, I didn't like any of their reds but liked a few of their whites. You can pay for some premium samples.
I ended up buying two bottles of 🍷 and having one while sitting with the view of the mountains.
Most people drove here, I walked here from my hotel in town, which took about an hour. There is no public transportation that comes here.
It's worth checking out if you're curious about Japanese wine like I was.

Nothing that is special in this place, some wine for free tasting...some chocolates and dessert made from wine...

It's a small and quaint winery, you walk around on your own and 30mins would be sufficient.
Do not compare it with other wineries that are huge establishment with guided tours and organized tasting and such.
This has a very cottage industry and homely feel and tasting is available but a very smaller scale.
Agree with one of the earlier review that the grape juice is spectacular!
The store on the 2nd floor is where the tasting is done and also where you can buy wine and so forth.
Overall, a interesting place to be.

We were done with photo taking in just 15 mins here. I sampled 2 of their wines. Very acidic. Pales in comparison to French wine. We didn't buy any in the end. They converted a cask into kaleidoscope which I really liked. If you are really into wine, I'll say give this a miss. It's not accessible via public transport anyway.

It is small and illustrations are in Japanese but the staffs can speak English.

And wine testing available at 500yen / glass for 2 different wines.

The winery does not conduct any tour. We walked around by ourselves, not really educational. The only plus area was the free tasting upstairs. So that you can get buy if you are keen. There are some really good buy, not expensive but good tasting wine. Very friendly staff.

One can easily visit the place on their own. Once you enter just follow the arrows. Go down to the wine cellar and then up to the sampling area where some artistic displays and photos are put up and finally to the shop. We didn't buy anything except for the wine chocolates after sampling them ofcourse. The view from the place though is amazing

We were there after leaving hotel, and were their first visitors of the day. In fact we were the only visitor for quite some time before 2 students loaded tour buses arrived. There wasn’t much to see or learn about how they produce the wine here. We just toured their underground where all the oat barrels were kept for wine aging, and saw how they kept their wines all the way back to 1972 for quality check or control. Wine sampling was on the upper floor but there were 2 wines available openly for sampling. The better wine cost 200yen to sample. Before leaving after spending less than an hour here, we took some time to do some photo shot at the small lavender field just beside the carpark. This actually made our visit to this small wine factory more worthwhile.

If you visited the wine region in the Provence in France, it's nice but nothing more than that. We visited just in time before closing, afraid we did not have enough time. But it actually was superfast.
Nice cellar. Tasting was simple (one white and one red) and then a little shop.
