Our tour guide Brian made the tour around the mine very interesting and fun, he was extremely knowledgable about the mine and could answer all our questions, even taking the time to take nice pictures of us in the chambers (using his fancy camera techniques!)...More

Great tour with Phil who was very knowledgeable in part due to his family’s history within the mines. His passion shows throughout the tour. Very interesting and enjoyable visit. Highly recommended. Can save some money by taking advantage of the early bird tour.

The history is brought to life as you walk around the caves with projections on the walls. Great for during wet weather or hot days!

We took the 10:30 tour. Because of the season (winter) we were the only ones on the tour. Our tour guide, Ste, was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Because his family have a history of working in slate mines, he was able to give us a...More

Tour isn't toooooo long, and there are nice bathrooms at the entrance. Just go right before heading down, and you'll be golden!
