    Not so grumpy after all

    Popped in for a quick cuppa after a trip to the falls. Best cup of tea this trip and can recommend the apricot flapjack. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Bookshop a wee gem. Amazon eat your heart out loved the eclectic mix.

    Welcome stop after walk towards Suilven.

    Went for lunch after walk to falls of Kirkaig with a friend

    Good cafe and large bookshop

    Good home baking and good tea in the cafe. The bookshop is large but damp and many of the book covers are curled over because of this. It's still a good place for a browse though.

    A great bookshop and café

    We stopped off looking for one book, and left with an armful; it's that sort of bookshop. Then we had a very nice snack in the coffee shop. Our visit was only marred by the sound of (presumably) the owner berating two of the staff...More

    Fantastic little place! Consistently excellent!

    We have been coming here for over 20 years. The service is consistently excellent, both in the bookshop and the cafe. the owner always greets us, remembers us and takes the time for a chat. All the staff (family members) are polite, friendly and helpful....More

    Lovely little shop and cafe

    Tucked away this remote bookstore has lots of the tourist type bits and bobs. The cafe next door has lovely homemade cakes. Well worth a stop especially if you are going to the waterfalls nearby

    Well it was still operating when we were there at Easter.... books as well as other souvenirs... whether its for sale or not I don't know. You could try ringing first?

    They still seemed to be in full swing and wee were there a few days through the week.
