Hard to believe you'll encounter this kind of landscape so near home. We passed through the badlands of Navarra while on bicycle vacation in july and stayed a few days to explore the area. No need to tell it's a rather arid environment especially in...More

Very enjoyable few hours. Track is passable with care by motorbike. Mixture of loose stone and fine dust. 34km lap around bardena baja, the nicest area according to the lady in the information centre. Lots of scenery.

We drove into the park- the paved entrance is just south of Arguedas, off Calle Real- look for the small brown sign. Otherwise you'll find it very difficult to get into the park by car. This route takes you to the tourist info office, and...More

Few beach-bound tourists ever make it to this part of Spain. You would have to be touring the north, especially the region south of Pamplona. Few would ever imagine a desert, actually a semi-desert, this far north. The total area is 42,00 hectares and is...More

Hard to believe that such a weird and wonderful landscape exists here in Europe. One tends to assume that such places only occur in the Americas or Asia. One piece of advice: this is a fairly brutal place to visit in hot windy weather (as...More

Very unusual. Our friends took us there but we only had a couple of hours so missed much and it was hot. Bear this in mind it is dry. As our friends pointed out this is used in many films, James Bond, Spaghetti westerns etc....More

Brilliant place to visit and to take some walks. One can imagine being on another planet. In high season it must be intolerable busy and hot, in October it was lovely with warm dry weather ±25degrees.
