Nice old house with a lovely garden. You can't go inside but still nice to spend some time wandering around it. The volunteer was also very enthusiastic and informative about the house, telling us it belong to a Samuria family and that only men could...More

Remember to spare a few minutes off visiting this little house before taking the ropeway! A nice little spot to take a couple of pictures.

Really cool to take a peak around the old Mekata House. Wish we could have gone inside. Nice garden outside though.
