I biked around the lake but couldn't find a place with trees nearby the water. So I didn't stopped as it was to hot and didn't want to be burned. It has a nice mountainbike track, so maybe next time, it is worth trying.

The lake is nice with grass surrounding it. Lake bottom is stone and gobbles so bring watershoes and the water is for the kids moddy and gromsy, before it get nice. A nice one day trip, rent a boat - sailing or pedal.

If you are open to the idea of a Lake Beach instead of the sea beach, then you will really appreciate this gem. It is very very big, so you can always walk to a secluded place where you may not see anyone else for...More

Drove past this lake. Was very impressed by the muddy rusty brown colour to the water, and wonder if anything lives in it. The surrounding hills are also of a very rusty shale type consistency. Would not consider swimming or spending much time here.

The dirt is red and dry and I saw cactus all around it. It's a lake in the middle of the desert which is great if you want to be away from people. Loved the Tranquillity and peace. My kid found a couple of lobsters...More

Visiting my daughter in Lodeve, we spent a day here with her and her three children. We took a picnic so didn't use any facilities there, but it's a beautiful spot in lovely surroundings. Swimming, windsurfing and boating all looked fun.

We were at the beach at Les Vailhes on lake salagou . It's really non commercial and great for the children too with swimming, boating, etc. There's not much shade so take an umbrella in the hot months. We all had a great time, especially...More

A wonderful facility for all the family. There are two boating bases where you can hire a motor boat(electric) sail boat or pedalo. Superb safe bathing for kids. Surrounded by spectacular beautiful scenery. So peaceful as all motors are banned so no horrible noisy smelly...More
