Of course if there village goes to so much effort as to build an unusual bench to look out over the valley, it should be good. It is an absolute must to visit, stop, look around... read more

Well worth stopping to take a few photographs, a fantastic view of Competa. The mosaic detail on the ground and walls is very interesting. Be carful with small children, the walls are low and a big drop on the other side.

Great place to stop and take in the great views of the white washed town of Competa. Make sure you bring a camera.

We were stopping in Competa and arranged to meet friends at this Gaudi influenced area. Very interesting and of course colourful. An opportunity to take photos of the Guida scene and the panoramic views of the area.

The Mirador Panoramico gave my wife and I our first view of beautiful Competa. A great spot to sit and enjoy the view and especially with the sun setting over the mountains.

Just out of town ,this Gaudi style viewpoint is a grand place to stand and be stunned by the beauty that is Competa

The mirador panoramico is a lovely view but it is very much the same as others. I wouldn't suggest a special trip here but if you're passing, stop and take a few photos.

if you're driving from Competa to Canillas definitely stop here for a few minutes to admire the view and the Gaudi-style structures. It's not worth making a special to the Competa area just to see this though. There isn't much space to park and there are no facilities for visitors.

This is a splendid viewing place to see over the village of Competa and the Almijara mountains, and the great Maroma. There are parking places to stop and take photos, and there is a map of the village. The monument is in the style of Guadi so is difficult to miss. There are seats to rest ,and is especially popular with cyclists.

SadLy, there is a depraved "artist" in Competa apparently favoured by the late Mayors of both Competa & Sayalonga, who commissioned these absurd, unseemly, tasteless "monuments" at the entrance to each rural village! They are eyesores & deserve no place in our landscape of olive groves, vines & almond trees.
