Southward Museum is world class. The variety and quality of the cars is almost unbelievable. Brought back memories of cars my father used to own and others he would have loved to have owned! New Zealand seems to have a great appreciation of beautiful things, this museum exemplifies this.

The wide range of vehicles on display is amazing. Some of the displays are "as found" to give an idea of the work involved in restoring some of the exhibits.

Really enjoy visiting this place. Again and again. Always discovering something new. Len Southward's amazing collection of vintage vehicles, planes, models, dinner plates, you name it. An eclectic collection of nostalgia. Everyone will have a memory triggered by one object or vehicle or another. I'm sure plenty has been said about the vehicles. Not going to harp on that. Just... We planned our stop here because of this fascinating place - as hubby is a vintage car buff. It did not disappoint. There were some rarities there - Marlene Dietrich's V16 Cadillac, and some cars that we hadn't heard of. A great visit all round.

A must stop by for car lovers. This is a huge compound that has all the different cars (and bikes) available for display.

Spent a great full day here with grandparents and young kids. Don't miss the basement area too where there are more interesting vehicles
