Moonstone is a small ski hill just north of Barrie. It's decent enough. It's kind of expensive concidering Blue Mountain which is much larger is pretty much the same price. This ski hill is exceptionally easy to get to, 400 North to Moonstone road. There that's it. If you've never skied before this is a good place to go once... More

MSM has done a decent job of trying to set up a nice spot. But they really lost it for me. I had directly visually seen 100% of this place within 20 minutes of getting on the first lift. Exploration gone. It is so barren, open, and exposed. It has an inescapable sterility about it. the runs are massively wide,... More

We bought an 8 pack of MSL tickets to use over the season which is something we've never done. We usually only go skiing/boarding 1-2 a year. My son had saved up enough money to buy himself a very cool new snowboard and was bursting with excitement to get out on the hills. Our first trip out Dec. 27. We... More

Brought a friend to ski their for the first time but unfortunately he fell and injured his hip before starting. We returned our equipment right away and went to customer service and requested a refund. The manager said that they do not give refund but that we could have a rain check to be used before March 26th. We told... More

I have been coming to the resort with my family for years. Both my children did lessons there too. One of them had an accident on the hill on his first run and was brought down by ski patrol. He was told not to ski the rest of the day and that we could get a refund for the ticket.... More

I have a beginner child. No where does anyone tell you that there are two different chalets. One Chalet is for beginner but to get there from the other side you have to travel up hill long distance and own a treacherous hill which is very scary for a beginner. When we went to rent our skis I asked where... More

Skiied/boarded at both Horseshoe and Mount St. Louis Moonstone this week and preferred this hill for sheer variety (and it also seemed a little taller, although I didn't check the official height). Having two peaks also means more "longer" runs. The high speed chair is great (Horseshoe also has one) and I thought it was great that they had a... More

Currently writing from the mountains in Japan, and until now I have never appreciated how good the groomed snow or terrain parks are at MSLM. As good as the powder is here, when there is no fresh I really wish the snow was groomed as nicely as at Mount Saint Louis Moonstone! The resort is better maintained than anywhere else... More

I have been skiing at Mt St Louis Moonstone for the past years along with many other ski resorts in Ontario. In the past two years I have decided to purchase the night season pass. This year has been the worst, the team at Mt St Louis Moonstone is not grooming ever the trails after 3 PM, the trail condition... More

Incredible ski trip with my 9 year old daughter. Runs for all experience levels. Black diamond hills are not too difficult and there is one with great moguls spanning the entire run. Terrain parks are awesome. Possibly the best I've seen in Ontario. Lifts for beginner runs at St Louis are very slow but all others are decent and the... More
