The museumship Pommern is the world’s only 4-masted sailing ship still in its original state. On board you can explore the ship from hold to charthouse. The ship is a part of the Aland Maritime Museum, an exciting museum for children and adults alike. The exhibitions are filled with dramatic stories, fantastic objects and lots of interactivities. The Aland Maritime Museum is open all year round, the museumship Pommern between May and September.

Whenever you feel like seeing a real ship, go to Pommern. Very interesting to see a real ship. A lot of small steps which makes it difficult for very small kids but an interesting place for older kids.

The best museum in town. Interesting morning. Ship is well preserved. You can walk around wherever you like. Good films of its past voyages

Awesome to see the ship. Huge ship, massive rigging and no propellers. Interesting stuff inside. The quarters seemed really small. Some stunning sailors they've been back in the day.

One of the still existing authentic Tall Ships in the world. 4-mast bark Pommern was used under the Wheat Trade, transporting wheat from Australia to Europe! A must see if you visit Åland Islands.

Good experience of living and working on sailing ship. There is lot of interesting details shown about the history of the ship. Definitely worth of visiting.
