Don’t expect northern Europeon style gardens, a little shabby but great place for a picnic and a cool stroll. Interesting Turtle pond, Black Swans with a huge clutch of eggs.

Extensive gardens with birds and turtles, but how did the swans find the place? Unfortunately the President's palace and private gardens are not open to the public. Shame that the Eagle fountain is not working.
Well maintained gardens opposite the Presidential Palace. A quiet spot with a fine collection of trees and plants from across the world - additionally there are a number of monuments and gifts from visiting dignitaries - look for the Japanese Pagoda. Well worth a visit.

Gardens in all guide books however not signed posted and not clear opening times.

Got off the Hop on Hop off bus here and spent over an hour. Could have stayed longer. There are lovely plots of flowers, trees, ponds, pagoda ornaments. It is so peaceful even though there are lots of tours stopping here. You can still find...More
