Don’t expect northern Europeon style gardens, a little shabby but great place for a picnic and a cool stroll. Interesting Turtle pond, Black Swans with a huge clutch of eggs. Stunning house to walk through

Extensive gardens with birds and turtles, but how did the swans find the place? Unfortunately the President's palace and private gardens are not open to the public. Shame that the Eagle fountain is not working.

Well maintained gardens opposite the Presidential Palace. A quiet spot with a fine collection of trees and plants from across the world - additionally there are a number of monuments and gifts from visiting dignitaries - look for the Japanese Pagoda. Well worth a visit.

Got off the Hop on Hop off bus here and spent over an hour. Could have stayed longer. There are lovely plots of flowers, trees, ponds, pagoda ornaments. It is so peaceful even though there are lots of tours stopping here. You can still find...More

The best and safest way to get to San Anton gardens by bus is to go to Valletta and get the number 54 bus which stops right near the gardens
